Some of the things we do!

The Light Industry Project

Light Industry is a six-year arts and manufacturing collaboration being delivered by Feral Arts in the Kunda Park Industrial Precinct on the Sunshine Coast. The project is exploring the role of the arts and creative sector in the economic revitalisation of manufacturing and light industry in Australia. It is seeking transformative investment in Kunda Park based on a new place-based ‘precincts and partnerships’ model, bringing together the three tiers of government, businesses, researchers, local communities and other stakeholders to develop a shared vision for the future, and deliver innovative, optimised, sustainable mixed-use precincts. Arts Front | Feral Arts Cultural Policy Submission

The analysis and ideas presented in this submission are distilled from contributions to the Arts Front 2030 project between 2016 and 2021. The Arts Front work is of direct relevance to the national cultural policy consultations. The project was developed as a whole-of-sector response to the absence of a national cultural policy to develop a shared, artist-led vision for the future of arts and culture in Australia. Little Lunch

Little Lunch Online (LLOL) is a chance to check in and connect with each other while we grab a quick bite of lunch, or a morning coffee for folk in the West. It's a quick 30 minute window to share ideas and resources, and plan our actions in responding to the pandemic, the climate crisis and whatever global emergency awaits us next. Our dystopian future may have arrived a little early but social distancing won't stop us from staying connected, sharing resources and doing even more amazing work. Visit Website
